Scipi Companies is proud to be employee-owned, and have been since 1975. We became 100% ESOP in 2014, which has been a wonderful decision for everyone in the Scipi family of companies. We are fully committed to the principles of each individual’s well-being, as well as to the success of the company. This status allows for a variety of benefits for all employees, including high job satisfaction, increased productivity, and a stronger team dynamic to foster more success within the workplace. With that, we’re proud to celebrate our 50-year anniversary of employee-ownership. We believe it has shown to be a true testament of our “people-first” principle and has truly inspired a culture that brings success to each individual and our growing company.
1. Scipi has been proudly employee-owned since 1975.
Everyone at Scipi has the opportunity to be an owner. You automatically become an owner. No action is required on your end. Email hr@scipi.org if you have questions about when you will become an owner.


2. Each year, every owner Receives shares of scipi stock.
Shares are paid for with company profits. There is no cost to you whatsoever. Your shares are held in your “Employee Stock Ownership Program” or “ESOP” account.
3. Ownership Benefits you financially.
Each year you receive additional shares. As Scipi grows and performs better, your shares can increase in value. You can see the value of your shares on your Annual Statement. You will get a new statement every year.


4. Ownership closes the loop between the company’s success and your financial success.
The better we perform, the more your shares are worth. Employee ownership is a team game. Everyone at Scipi needs to understand their role as employee and as owner for us to be successful.
5. To reward long-term commitment among our owners, your shares are subject to vesting.
“Vested” shares are yours and cannot be taken back, even if you leave Scipi. Over time more of your shares become vested until you are 100% vested after 6 years.
